Casual Game Cat Stretch

Dragging with the mouse extends the cat across a fixed board, and every visited space becomes part of its body route. The stage must connect the start to the finish within a limited number of moves. Yarn balls, fish treats, and similar objects occupy lanes and need to be pushed from a side with enough free space. Looking only at straight-line distance is misleading: an object beside the exit may first need to move away from it to create room for the cat to turn. Before acting, count narrow passages, movable objects, and the remaining move budget. Handle obstacles with only one valid push direction first, then build the main route. As the cat grows longer, open board space decreases, so an early loop can seal an area that still needs to be entered. Reaching the finish requires both a connected path and respect for the move limit. Before pushing an object, check the square behind it. A wall, the board boundary, or the cat's own body can make the push impossible even when the approach looks correct. When a solution repeatedly uses one move too many, first look for a turn that enters the same region twice, then ask whether one obstacle push can also open a straight route. Preserve the approach direction to the finish; placing the stretched body across its only entrance can make an otherwise short route impossible. On a complex board, work backward from the last two or three moves at the goal and then return to the start to arrange the pushes. This reveals which turning square must remain empty and prevents an early attractive route from consuming the exact space needed at the end.
